“After a 25-year career in law enforcement, Paul Delacourt retired from the FBI in May 2021.

Mr. Paul D. Delacourt works for Red River Technology in Chantilly, Virginia as a Director of Programs. He also teaches Intelligence and Analysis as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Chicago Graham School. Mr. Delacourt was the Assistant Director of the FBI’s Strategic Realignment Program Management Office in Washington, DC, at the time of his retirement.

For the previous three years as the Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI’s Los Angeles field office, he led an executive team that oversaw three operational divisions, intelligence, and mission services, as well as nearly 1500 employees spread across the Central District of California’s seven counties.

Paul Delacourt was the special agent in charge of the FBI’s Honolulu field office for three years. He was previously in charge of field office inspections, national programs, shooting incidents, and special projects at the FBIHQ Inspection Division in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Delacourt became a special agent with the FBI in 1995. He began his work in the Chicago Division as a gang and drug investigator. He worked in the Counterterrorism program in Chicago, Washington, DC, and Atlanta, Georgia, following 9/11.

Mr. Paul Delacourt worked for the Administration Crimes Liaison Office (RCLO), a Justice Department project entrusted with researching war crimes, genocide, and crimes against humanity committed by Saddam Hussein and others during Iraq’s previous administration. He served for the RCLO, a counter-terrorism group, and held temporary roles with the FBI’s Guantánamo Bay Task Force, as well as deployments to Afghanistan, Qatar, and Iraq.

He worked as an FBI liaison officer for a counter-narcotics task force at US Pacific Command’s Camp Smith in Hawaii from 2009 to 2011. In 2012, he was elevated to assistant special agent in charge of the Honolulu Division, and then in 2013, he was promoted again to assistant special agent in command of the Honolulu Division. Paul graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts and Wayne State University Law School with a Juris Doctorate.”
